Crime on Campus

In compliance with the timely warning notification provision of the Federal Clery Act, I’m writing to you regarding some criminal acts that took place on-campus over the weekend. These include several acts of burglary and vandalism.

On Saturday, between the hours of 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm International Programs, Welding, and the Garden Center were burglarized  and vandalized.  Windows were broken and desk drawers were rifled through.  Each of the departments are currently doing inventory and will report missing items.

On Sunday morning at 9:20 am, a car prowler struck a lone vehicle that was parked in the south lot. Later that day, between the hours 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, the front doors to the Business Office were vandalized and offices burglarized. The Seattle Police Department were called and the incidents are currently under investigation.

If you witness any suspicious activities or persons on campus, please contact security (206-934-0911) or call 911 immediately.  Do not attempt to investigate the activity or person yourself.
