1.View “Vietnam's Unseen War: Pictures from the Other Side” This DVD is available in the Library.  There appear to be versions available through YouTube.

In discussing photos documenting war.  Consider who the audience was.  Discuss the impact on morale and support for war efforts.

2. Find three photograph from the war taken by a North Vietnamese
or Viet Cong photographer. What is the photograph? Who was the photographer? Discuss the photograph.



The Library has a collection of books by and about Vietnam in the DS 500's and at the Reserve Desk. You may, of course, find resources via the WWW.





3. Find three photograph taken by an American or South
Vietnamese allied journalist of the Vietnamese-American War. What is the photograph? Who was the photographer? Discuss the photograph.







4. Find a more recent Vietnamese photographer and photograph to write a

paragraph about. Please name the photographer and document your source.
