Term Project – 30 points

Three photographic images about MUSIC due about Monday February 19^th.   We will show these photos in the Library.  If a photo is chosen for the ART Gallery show, it will need to be matted or framed.  20 bonus points will be awarded.

“This is a reminder that the Art Gallery will be having a Music and Art Exhibition during the Winter Quarter of 2016 which will start on Tuesday February 23rd, 2016 and run until Tuesday March Project 15^th (Tentative Schedule) Reception for this show will be on Tuesday March 1st. We are replacing the Incredible Intensity of Just Being Human Show with this show. This show will be collaborating with the  Music, Art and English (Writing Center) Department as well as maybe the Childcare Center and ANNAPSI Center. The theme of this show is related with Mental Health and kind of like Therapy which will support students through Music and Art by producing a powerful release of feelings that can be healing to the mind, body and spirit. We want to help students who are dealing with anxiety and stress with positive changes in mood, relation, peace and comfort as well as supporting their academic success through Music and Art.

I just want to clarify the email I sent out to you all yesterday. The theme of our Spring 2016 show will be on Art of Music. The exhibition will showing student artists creating the look of music such as classical, modern music, the jazz culture, art based on instruments, history, in other words creating art based on the world of music.
