Chinese Garden Event


The Seattle Chinese Garden's Luoyang tree peonies are coming into bloom and many will be in
full flower by this weekend. Come see them, celebrate, and enjoy a family friendly festival.

Peony Painting Performance by Yiqiao (George) Jiang

 

Join us to dedicate the largest public peony garden on the West Coast.

Entertainment in the courtyard • Peony painting demonstrations by Yiqiao (George Jiang)
Sale of potted Luoyang tree peonies and peony-themed arts and craft items
Talks on growing peonies in your garden and on peonies in Chinese culture
Raffle with special items  • Chinese food booth

 

Martial arts demonstrations • Saturday at 1:30 and Sunday at Noon

 

Like to fly kites? Bring your own or purchase an inexpensive one on site
and let them soar in the big field north of the courtyard.
