COLLABORATION PROJECT

FOR NEARLY A DECADE, poetry writing students have partnered with painting, drawing, digital art, and photography students in what has come to be known as

SSCC Collaboration Project.

Writing students incoporate a visual image created by a student artist into an original piece of writing and, conversely art students create a visual response inspired and influenced by a student poem. The result is an amazing, tandem, synthesized juxtaposition of artistic expression and energy—a synergy best described as

1+1=3!
